Job summary

Fayette Parts Service Inc. is seeking a Parts Professional to provide prompt and courteous service to customers in-store or by phone.

You will look up parts in catalogs or the POS system, process orders accurately, and advise customers on the best parts to meet their needs. The role requires excellent communication, product knowledge, and the ability to handle technical questions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Able to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.
• Be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and codes to ensure proper selection and delivery of parts.

Responsibilities

• Implements appropriate sales practices such as greeting customers, demonstrating product knowledge, and understanding customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by serving all customers, securing the right part, and resolving issues.
• Demonstrates professional attitude and appearance.
• Operates POS and catalog systems, processes stock orders, and maintains store displays.
• Participates in training and performs other tasks as assigned by management.
