Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide exceptional service to retail and installer customers and support store management. You will assist professional customers, handle pricing, returns, and exchanges, and help maintain store operations.

Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are encouraged, and ASE certification is preferred. The role includes greeting customers, answering calls, stocking shelves, and handling cash transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desired: Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in selection of merchandise.
• Assist professional customers as directed.
• Answer incoming calls per policy, lookup parts and quote prices, promote Low-Price Guarantee.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer during transactions.
• Complete daily image maker, planogram updates, and inventory tasks.
• Drive a delivery vehicle occasionally with proper eligibility.
• Perform in-store services such as installing wipers and testing batteries where allowed by law.
