Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers, while supporting store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to assist professional customers and handle cash and transactions.

The role involves greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, processing exchanges/returns, answering phone inquiries, and performing in-store services as required by state laws.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Support store management and installers as needed.
• Answer store phone calls per policy, look up parts and quote prices, promote related items.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy and handle cash, checks, and card transactions.
• Address customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with planogram updates, stocking and shelf presentation.
• Perform daily operations like returns to distribution center and stock counts.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries, codes) as allowed by state law.
