Job summary

Chadwick-BaRoss is seeking a Parts Specialist in Connecticut to coordinate parts for aggregate and heavy-duty equipment, support in-house technicians, and assist customers with sales and inventory needs.

The role focuses on accurate parts identification, order processing, and ensuring timely availability of parts for service and customers, contributing to overall parts business growth.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
• Knowledge of receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, smartphones, and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer, factory and vendor support
• Process parts orders for phone, counter and service sales
• Service customers by identifying needed parts, using catalogs, CD-ROM and computer systems
• Locate and obtain parts if customer’s needs are not in stock
• Obtain credit releases in accordance with Company Policy
• Resolve customer invoicing problems
• Assist with yearly physical inventory
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Job description

Role: Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist performs a combination of duties to obtain parts and supplies for aggregate and heavy- duty equipment customers as well as in house technicians. Services customers solicit additional sales and charge out inventory.

Compensation

$25-$30/hr
