The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
2. Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
3. Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Provide excellent service to customers calling the store, including answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
6. Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.
7. Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
8. Assist with daily operational tasks such as freight receival, stocking, cleaning, and planogram updates.
9. Operate store equipment after training and meet company requirements.
10. Perform in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle trouble codes where legal.
11. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if needed and eligible.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including customer interactions on the phone and in-store.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service experience.
• ASE certification (preferred).
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
