The Parts Specialist will provide retail and installer customers with high-quality service and support store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, and related selling initiatives.
2. Greet customers promptly and courteously, assisting them in selecting merchandise.
3. Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Provide excellent phone service, answer calls per company policy, look up parts, quote prices, recommend items, and promote the Low-Price Guarantee.
6. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions accurately, and handle exchanges and returns following company policies.
7. Address customer complaints courteously and resolve issues.
8. Assist with daily store operations, including freight receipt, stocking, and planogram updates.
9. Perform operational tasks such as merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts.
10. Operate store equipment like brake lathes after training.
11. Perform in-store services (where law permits), such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle trouble codes.
12. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if required and eligible.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, and Experience

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Multitasking ability to handle in-store and phone customers simultaneously.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service experience.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
