Position Summary

The Parts Specialist II is an integral part of a customer service environment with an ability to professionally communicate with suppliers and internal personnel. The primary functions of the Parts Specialist II are to assemble orders, process shipments, and receive incoming materials. The Parts Specialist II has previous experience working in a parts and warehouse environment and has a good understanding of the Weber operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembles orders, prepares goods, and processes shipments in SAP
  • Daily invoicing in SAP of all daily outbound shipments
  • Receives, unpacks, inspects, and stores incoming materials and supplies and replenishes stock in the towers
  • Responsible for monitoring tower inventory to ensure only parts clerks are accessing
  • Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
  • Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation
  • Able to perform inventory adjustments as instructed
  • Able to run in house weSharp for blade resharpening
  • Participate in weekly afterhours on call rotation
  • Participate in company-provided training and apply knowledge appropriately (daily processes)
  • Help maintain a neat and orderly parts room
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Possess basic understanding of the returns process, shipping/receiving functions, in-house blade sharpening, and general SAP inquires
  • Ability to operate forklift

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with computers including MS Office
  • SAP Experience Preferred

Other Requirements

  • Current valid U.S. driver's license.
