Responsibilities

Role Description

The Parts Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with identifying, sourcing, and ordering JCB parts, both in person and over the phone or email. Day-to-day tasks include managing parts inquiries, providing accurate parts recommendations, maintaining and organizing parts inventory, processing orders and returns, and ensuring timely fulfillment. The Parts Specialist will also update inventory records, coordinate with the service and sales teams, and support overall parts department efficiency. Consistent, professional communication and a focus on customer satisfaction are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and a commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
• Experience with Inventory Management and Inventory Control in a parts, retail, or warehouse environment.
• Effective Communication skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial parts is preferred.
• Ability to use inventory and point-of-sale systems; proficiency with common office software tools.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests at once.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or parts-related training is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Atlanta, GA, including occasional overtime as business needs require.
