Job Description

The Parts Specialist provides high-quality service to retail and installer customers and supports store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Promote all company customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
3. Support managers and installer service specialists as needed.
4. Complete relevant training.
5. Answer phone calls, look up parts, and recommend products.
6. Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and maintain the cash drawer.
7. Process exchanges and returns per policy.
8. Resolve customer complaints amicably.
9. Assist with store image upkeep, freight receival, and inventory tasks.
10. Operate store equipment after training.
11. Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan trouble codes).
12. Occasionally drive delivery vehicle if needed.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.

Desired:

• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
