The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position also supports store management in accomplishing assigned tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
2. Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them with merchandise selection.
3. Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
4. Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
5. Provide excellent service to customers calling the store, including answering calls, accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and offering related items and guarantees.
6. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, handle transactions accurately, and process credit card payments.
7. Process exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies.
8. Address and resolve customer complaints amicably.
9. Assist with daily store operations like stock replenishment, freight receival, and planogram updates.
10. Perform operational tasks such as merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts.
11. Operate store equipment after training and certification.
12. Perform in-store services (where legal), e.g., installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning vehicle codes.
13. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle, subject to driving record approval.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service.
• ASE certification.
