The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position may also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  2. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
  3. Answer telephone calls according to company policy.
  4. Process online orders, ship-to-store, transfers, and DC add orders promptly, contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
  5. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic outside purchase ledger.
  6. Process retail customer returns and exchanges in a friendly manner, issue refunds accurately, and manage returned merchandise appropriately.
  7. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store.
  8. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
  9. Ensure adherence to work schedules, manage deviations with management approval, and monitor clock-ins/outs per policy.
  10. Perform opening and closing duties, including end-of-day procedures, securing deposits, preparing bank deposits, and securing the store and delivery vehicles.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities
Required:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Desired:
  • Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
  • Automotive systems and repair knowledge
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
