Job summary

Lincoln of Bloomington is seeking a Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate to handle incoming and outgoing parts, ensuring proper documentation and timely delivery. This on-site role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves inspecting shipments, packing and shipping orders, maintaining records in inventory systems, and supporting inventory counts and process improvements with the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or warehouse training preferred.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or parts inventory management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with automotive parts, inventory systems, and shipping software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
• Unload and sort incoming parts and materials, ensuring proper storage and inventory placement.
• Prepare, pack, and ship parts orders according to customer or department specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, deliveries, and receipts using inventory management systems.
• Assist in inventory counts, reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Ensure parts storage areas are organized, clean, and safe, complying with company safety policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill parts requests in a timely manner.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Handle returns and warranty parts processing in accordance with company policy.
• Support the Parts Manager in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
