Job summary

Bloomington Normal Auto Mall is looking for an experienced Parts Shipping and Receiving clerk to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in wholesale or retail automotive parts and a passion for customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience with in-house DMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and put away orders.
• Verify items received against PO/packing list.
• Sell automotive parts to customers and technicians via in-person and calls.
• Inspect items for quality and accuracy; resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure labels are accurate and inventory levels are maintained.
• Maintain organization and assist with housekeeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are currently searching for an experienced Parts Shipping and Receiving clerk to join our Bloomington Auto Mall team. Having experience in wholesale or retail automotive parts would be ideal. Responsibilities

• Receive, Unload, and put up orders
• Verify items received by comparing the purchase order to the packing list/invoice
• Responsible for selling various automotive parts and company products via face to face with customers and technician’s and inbound/outbound phone calls
• Inspect condition of items for quality and accuracy resolving any discrepancies in weight, quality or unit price
• Make sure labels for material are accurate
• Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary
• Monitor parts inventory to insure minimum stocking levels.
• Assist with daily housekeeping duties.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with in house DMS systems.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
• Must possess excel data entry and math skills and have a strong attention for detail
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others and be a team player.
• Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
• Must be organized and a self-starter.
• Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds system a plus.
