Job summary

Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. In a warehouse environment you will handle inbound and outbound deliveries and organize shipments to the correct departments.

You will verify bills of lading, stock shelves, and support continuous improvement of receiving processes while maintaining safety and accuracy. Experience with Excel is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal and phone etiquette skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction / information.
• A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Forklift experience a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive all deliveries, verifying bills of lading against pieces received.
• Distributes and locates parts into bins for collection.
• Distributes special parts orders to the departments that have ordered them.
• Receipts and shelves all stock orders or returns inventory system.
• Scraps all authorized replaced warranty parts on a monthly basis.
• Cleans and restocks shipping and receiving area
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
