Responsibilities

• Providing service department support regarding parts inquiry's & sales.
• Ensure part requests have been approved by shop manager or shop foremen prior to ordering/ adding to work order. This applies to non-stocking parts, and part orders that arc above $5000.
• Research parts needed by technicians through manufacturer manuals and by outsourcing vendors.
• Ensure correct parts information before placing orders on behalf of CN Wood to eliminate potential delays.
• Creating purchase orders for all service parts sales.
• Processing parts orders through manufacturer portals.
• Demonstrate professional and helpful sourcing techniques.
• Track outstanding / backordered parts for service department.
• Monitor company oil levels, this includes bulk oil and counter sales of oil.
• Perform various warehouse duties.
• Provide and help maintain shop related tools and supplies.
• Assist in maintaining battery inventory.
• Code and process vendor invoices pertaining to stock and service purchase orders.
• Annual inventory counts of shop related supplies or parts.
• Perform any additional part related tasks as directed by Parts Manager.
