Putzmeister America, Inc. is seeking a Parts & Service Coordinator – Parts Sales for our new Hickory, NC facility. If you have parts sales experience and mechanical inclination, join a global leader in concrete pumping equipment and grow with us.

You will greet visitors, handle inquiries, coordinate repairs, and process work orders, contributing to customer satisfaction and smooth operations.

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet office visitors and callers, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly via telephone and/or email and log interactions in Salesforce.
• Coordinate repair service requests with customers and schedule work.
• Submit work orders for repairs or maintenance of equipment.
• Identify correct components to meet customer needs and assist in parts identification.
• Assist customers in accurately identifying required parts.
• Move and handle parts up to 50 pounds safely.
• Load Small Parcel Carriers using mobile equipment.
• Sort and stage products for warehouse put-away.
• Verify received materials for accuracy, quality and quantity.

Essential duties/ responsibilities :

• Greet office visitors and callers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and answering any questions.
• Respond to customer inquiries timely via telephone and/or email and log interactions in the Salesforce case management system.
• Work closely with customers to coordinate repair service requests.
• Submit work orders for any repairs or maintenance required for equipment.
• Recognize the correct component as a solution to a customer's need.
• Assist customers in accurately identifying the parts required.
• Safely select, lift, and move parts that vary in size and weigh up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis from various height locations, floor level, and up.
• Loading Small Parcel Carriers using mobile equipment.
• Sort products of various sizes and weights and stage for proper warehouse put-away.
• Confirm the accuracy of received materials and verify the quality and quantity of parts received.
• Replenish parts in bin and rack areas throughout the warehouse.
• Housekeeping – Sweeping, moving boxes and pallets to the appropriate area , maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.
• Develop a working knowledge of Putzmeister products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
