The Parts & Service Center Manager takes charge of daily operations, championing a safe, profitable, and streamlined environment that empowers the team to deliver exceptional results every day.
What a Day in Your Life Looks Like:
- Service Operations: Ensure compliance with national account service programs, turnaround standards, and established customer requirements.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate daily service schedules, communicate priorities, and partner with technicians to ensure repair scope, quoted hours, and customer expectations are understood.
- Work Orders & Quality: Review work orders for labour, materials, and accuracy; support service quoting and verify completed work meets established quality standards.
- Customer Communication: Maintain effective communication and reporting with internal and external customers regarding service status, scheduling, and requirements.
- Parts Operations: Oversee efficient parts ordering, processing, shipping, and coordination between Parts and Service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reduce excess and obsolete stock, manage NCR returns and credits, and support annual physical inventory.
- JDE & Inventory Planning: Utilize JDE to monitor inventory usage and support effective planning, reporting, and inventory control.
- Financial Administration: Maintain accurate documentation and support A/R, A/P, billing, and departmental financial processes.
- Team Leadership: Train and develop team members, establish clear responsibilities, and promote collaboration between Parts and Service.
- Safety & 5S: Ensure compliance with company and OSHA requirements, conduct required safety meetings and training and maintain established 5S standards.
- Operational Support: Support capital requests, maintain Parts & Service area security, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Additional Duties: Tackle other assigned tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism.

What You Bring to the Table:
- Degree: Preferred educational background relevant to the role.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven leadership skills managing teams and operations.
- Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience repairing trucks and trailers.
- Facility Management: Previous experience running a repair facility, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Software Proficiency: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of basic credit and collections processes.
- Self‑Motivation : A true self‑starter who takes initiative and drives results.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and foster collaboration.
