Job summary

AHW LLC is seeking a parts counter sales professional in Watseka, IL to serve customers over the counter and support the service department. You will drive aftermarket promotions, maintain inventory accuracy, and demonstrate products to customers and staff.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and safe, orderly shop and parts areas. Applicants should be able to lift items and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience.
• Experience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, establishes rapport.
• Demonstrates basic understanding of the selling processes.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
• Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Experience working both independently and in a team setting.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter or on the phone
• Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions
• Responsibility for Inventory Integrity
• Educates and engages customers through product demonstrations and promotions
• Effectively uses computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts, Parts Expert, JD Point, PartsAdvisor, barcode system and Dealer Business System
• Communicates, executes, and monitors Parts Department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
• Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

This position is responsible for selling our tiered portfolio of parts to customers over the counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and placing special orders for our customers.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
