Job summary

Heritage Tractor in Kansas is seeking a Parts Sales Professional to support customers by selling parts, attachments, and related products while helping maintain accurate inventory and efficient parts operations.

This role combines customer service, sales support, inventory handling, and order fulfillment. You will assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts, process online orders, receive shipments, stock inventory, and help maintain a clean, safe parts department and warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with parts, equipment, machinery or related products.
• Ability to learn parts catalog and inventory systems.
• Experience in parts sales or inventory management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts, attachments, and related products that meet their needs.
• Promote products and services while delivering a positive customer experience.
• Process and communicate customer online parts orders through the company’s customer portal.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify inventory received against shipment documentation.
• Stock inventory in designated storage locations and maintain organized inventory areas.
• Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of merchandise displays.
• Monitor and report inventory shortages, order discrepancies, and urgent customer needs to the appropriate team lead or manager.
• Support the fulfillment of customer orders, including machine-down and stock orders.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department, warehouse, and work areas.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries and voicemail messages in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with coworkers to support daily department operations and customer service goals.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
