Job summary

Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing in the Spokane/CDA area is hiring a Parts Runner to support technicians by delivering parts to service sites. You will load/haul parts, verify orders, and assist with installs, while helping keep the warehouse clean.

The position is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, full-time with benefits including medical, dental & vision insurance, a 401(k) with 4% company match, PTO and paid holidays. Plumbing/HVAC experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with plumbing, drains, HVAC is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of technology; familiarity with Apple products.
• Valid and current driver’s license; clear driving and background records; insurable by company’s insurance carriers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to service sites.
• Verify accuracy of orders.
• Pick up vendor equipment for next-day installs as scheduled.
• Assist technicians with installs.
• Maintain warehouse and parking lot cleanliness.
• Secure all Mainstream vehicles daily.
• Maintain cleanliness of company grounds to ensure a safe and professional work environment.
• Assist with truck inspections, when needed.
• Maintain proper documentation for all delivered and collected items.
• Assist Inventory, Fleet, Warehouse Management with various tasks.
• Follow GPS-monitored routes as per company policy.

What We're Looking For:

The mission of our delivery driver is to be a great help to technicians in the field by delivering parts to
service sites. Drivers will load/haul parts, tools and equipment; as well as complete various tasks while on
job sites. Mainstream’s Service Techs & Installers are the customers of our delivery drivers.
