Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a hands-on parts room coordinator in Minnesota to manage maintenance, engineering, and stockroom activities on all shifts. The role requires inventory forecasting, vendor coordination, and cost tracking to support quality, safety, productivity, and customer service.

• Responsible for spare parts procurement cycle. Perform daily receiving and all stockroom activities.
• Communicate with production, maintenance and finance department personnel to coordinate parts and supply issues affecting production.

Terms

This position will be responsible for maintaining the systems that support the maintenance, engineering, and technical support activities within the plant on all shifts.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM
• Wage: $22.00 - $26.00

Responsibilities:

• Managing the maintenance and engineering parts room
• Administering the computerized maintenance management system (Megamation, or similar)
• Forecast parts room inventory levels and initiate reorder process in a timely manner to support the business units and help achieve plant goals of quality, safety, productivity, and customer service
• Responsible for spare parts vendor selection and management
• Responsible for tracking actual expenses while staying within budget.
• Responsible for spare parts procurement cycle. Perform daily receiving and all stockroom activities.
• Communicate with production, maintenance and finance department personnel to coordinate parts and supply issues affecting production.

Working hours: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM

Skills:

• Warehousing and logistics (4?5 years of experience)
