Riesterer & Schnell is Wisconsin’s premiere John Deere Dealership, serving WI farmers and residents for nearly 100 years. Joining the R&S team means you become part of the John Deere legacy, helping feed and clothe the world. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:30 am–5 pm with a Saturday rotation 7:30 am–noon.

Starting wage range is typically $20-25/hr, varying by experience. We seek a Parts Representative to respond to customers with urgency and provide timely, accurate solutions.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of farm equipment required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people from all levels of the organization, and the general public as well.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
• Ability to use a computer and current software programs required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the department and over the phone, using their name and thanking them.
• Ask appropriate questions to determine the best solution to the customers’ parts need; use all resources.
• Build solid business relationships with customers and be a resource for questions.
• Communicate marketing programs to customers, promoting the R&S value.
• Assist Technicians and other Service personnel in retrieving parts and processing shop orders.
• Retrieve parts from inventory, transfer in from another store, or order as needed.
• Generate an invoice, accept payment and process the transaction accurately.
• Coordinate shipments incoming and outbound from the dealership.
• Process parts orders and match them with orders.
• Notify customers when orders are in.
• Stock and dust merchandise on showroom floor and maintain eye-catching displays.
• Create seasonal merchandising displays to promote sales.
• Share after-hours calls with other parts staff.
• Refer leads on other sales opportunities to R&S staff as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe parts area, observing safety guidelines.
• Participate in annual physical inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Stay up-to-date on equipment and market trends through training and bulletins.
• Complete all related paperwork in a timely, efficient manner.
• Present a positive, professional image in dress and conduct.

Coordinates shipments incoming and outbound from the dealership.9. Goes through parts orders as they arrive and puts them away or matches them with orders.10. Contacts customers and notifies them when orders are in.11. Faces, stocks and dusts merchandise on the showroom floor on a daily basis to ensure eye-catching displays.12. Creates seasonal merchandising displays to promote sales.13. Shares in the responsibility of after-hours calls with other parts department staff.14. Refers leads on other sales opportunities to R&S staff as appropriate.15. Maintains a clean, neat and safe parts area, observing safety guidelines at all times.16. Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory of all parts on hand, participates in annual physical inventory process as requested.17. Stays up-to-date on equipment and market trends through attending training, product bulletins and other resources.18. Completes all related paperwork in a timely, efficient manner.19.
