Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Parts & Inventory Specialist to support the equipment maintenance team. You will manage inventory, pull and ship parts, and coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely repairs.

The role requires 2+ years of parts/equipment experience, forklift operation, and strong communication. A high school diploma is required and familiarity with Viewpoint and Microsoft Office is preferred. This is a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and pull requested parts; charge out and reorder as needed.
• Expedite shipping and receiving on parts orders.
• Negotiate with vendors for best pricing and delivery options.
• Record and maintain parts and maintenance history in the operating system.
• Identify and order parts and materials required for mechanics.
• Communicate parts delivery times to customers to meet needs.
• Operate forklift to load/unload parts.
• Maintain a clean, presentable work area.
• Answer and make calls about parts orders.
• Inform Parts Manager of any parts issues.

Job Description

Summary:

Provide support to equipment manager and mechanics for the maintenance of company equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage inventory
• Pull requested parts from inventory, charge out and re-order when necessary
• Expedite shipping and receiving on parts orders
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best pricing and delivery options
• Record and maintain parts and maintenance history in operating system
• Identify and order all parts and materials required for mechanics
• Communicate with customers on parts delivery times to best meet their needs
• Operate Forklift to load and unload parts
• Keep work area clean and presentable
• Answer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders
• Inform Parts Manager of any parts issues

Education And Experience

• High School/Equivalent
• 2+ years of parts and/or equipment maintenance experience
• Heavy equipment knowledge preferred
