Job summary

Montage International seeks a Parts Inventory Specialist to manage inventory for facilities maintenance, including counts, procurement, receiving and stocking of materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment.

You will catalog data, create PO's, reconcile invoices, and perform month-end reviews while collaborating with vendors and manufacturers to improve quality and efficiency. This is a hands-on role in a hotel environment requiring accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum in construction, repair trade or home-improvement retail preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials such as fasteners, plumbing, electrical, and tools.
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Internet navigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must possess a positive attitude.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to interface with diverse associates, vendors and the public.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Catalog and maintain inventory item data and specifications in the computerized database.
• Create purchase orders and place orders with vendors.
• Receive product, reconcile to invoice and enter into database; restock as needed.
• Perform month-end inventory reviews.
• Perform cost comparisons to source best pricing on materials.
• Manage vendor relations.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to develop higher quality materials for proprietary parts.
• Initial setup and ongoing organization/management of parts rooms; labeling, bins and distribution.
• Optimize inventory management processes through provided software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
