Job summary

Campers Inn RV of Ocala, FL is seeking a Parts Manager to lead a profitable and efficient parts department within a busy dealership. This full-time role reports to the Service Manager and focuses on timely parts availability for internal jobs and smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has automotive parts experience, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory, vendor relations, and pricing to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Five years of experience in an automotive parts department preferred.
• Some sales experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines.
• Ability to use a computer and other office equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications, including Motility Systems2K and other applicable software.
• Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files, and reports.
• Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Service Manager to ensure timely parts turnaround for internal jobs.
• Prepare and administer annual parts department budget.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting parts sales.
• Hire, train, motivate, and monitor parts staff performance.
• Direct and schedule activities of parts department employees.
• Develop, enforce and monitor customer interaction guidelines.
• Handle customer complaints per dealership guidelines.
• Establish and enforce a pricing policy balancing volume, loyalty, and costs.
• Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
