Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Parts Manager in North Little Rock, AR to maximize parts sales and profitability while sustaining strong customer relations. Responsibilities include inventory control, purchasing, pricing coordination with the shop, and coordinating daily deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the industry, strong communication and customer service skills, and experience with payables, invoicing, and cycle counts. Travel is not required, and forklift training is included.

Qualifications

• Education: High School education or higher.
• Experience: 5 or more years of experience in the industry.
• Skills: Communication skills.
• Very good customer service skills.
• Inventory control management.
• Safety and OSHA rules.
• Good computer skills.
• Product knowledge.
• Ability to motivate people.
• Travel: None.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance and profitability of the parts.
• Visit and call customers to ensure satisfaction with service.
• Run reorder reports and order parts from vendors.
• Order properly to get best price and inventory levels.
• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Train team in their job responsibilities.
• Coordinate with Shop Manager on pricing.
• Prepare quotes for salesman and maintain quotes in system.
• Match payables and ensure billing before payment.
• Take orders by phone and invoice.
• Support salesman to achieve goals.
• Review morning reports to assess prior day performance.
• forklift training.
• Handle HR issues as needed.
