Austintown Ford/Mercedes is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead the parts department and ensure timely turnaround for internal jobs. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, manage payroll, and drive inventory strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Manager for timely parts turnaround.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor parts staff performance.
• Schedule activities of parts department team.
• Monitor payroll for Parts Department team members.
• Handle customer complaints promptly per dealership guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts.
• Input inventory control information and ensure proper tagging.
• Ensure purchases are properly accounted for before payment; monitor markup.
• Assist in collecting past-due accounts and compliance with taxes/fees.
• Assist in answering dealership phones and customer inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned by Parts & Service Director.

Responsibilities

• work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff. direct and schedule the activities of all parts department team members.
• Monitor Parts Department Team member payroll.
• handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts.
• Input inventory control information.
• Monitor for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and fees.
• Assist in answering dealership phones with customers.
• Ensure that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made. Monitor the percentage markup on parts obtained locally.
• ensure that all parts are properly tagged to ensure that the dealership is recovering full credit from the factory. Assist in the collection of past - due accounts.
• other duties as assigned by the Parts & Service Director.
