Job summary

Findlay is seeking a hands-on Parts Department Manager to lead daily operations and drive a superior guest experience at our dealership. This full-time leadership role focuses on staff development, profitability, and seamless parts flow.

You will hire and train team members, manage inventory, ensure accurate pricing, and maintain safety standards while delivering exceptional service to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least three years of related experience in an automotive parts management position preferred.
• Two or more years of sales experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all employees follow their assigned work schedules and adhere to absenteeism, reporting and tardiness policy
• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff
• Meets and assists the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need
• Supervises stock order procedures
• Ensures that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
• Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas
• Accurately prices parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keeps the computer system up to date
• Enforces safety requirements
