Glenn Buege Chevrolet, INC. is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department and drive profitability. You will oversee inventory control, ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, and obsolescence, while coaching staff and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Applicants should have dealership experience, strong knowledge of GM parts and catalogs, and a proven ability to manage vendor relationships. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager in a automotive dealership.
• Strong knowledge of GM parts, catalogs, ordering systems, and dealership operations.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, control expenses, and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, and obsolescence.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels using GM RIM and GM systems.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate Parts Department staff.
• Collaborate with Service, Body Shop, and Sales to ensure parts availability.
• Monitor sales, gross profit, expenses, and other KPIs.
• Ensure accurate billing, warranty parts procedures, and GM standards.
• Maintain excellent customer service and address parts-related concerns.
• Keep the Parts Department clean and organized.

Parts Manager

General Motors Dealership | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive parts knowledge, dealership experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory, profitability, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership Parts Department.
• Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, and obsolescence.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and utilize GM RIM and other GM parts-management systems.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate Parts Department employees.
• Work closely with Service, Body Shop, and Sales departments to ensure parts are available when needed.
• Develop and maintain wholesale and retail parts business.
• Build strong relationships with GM, vendors, suppliers, and wholesale customers.
• Monitor department sales, gross profit, expenses, and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure accurate billing, warranty parts procedures, and compliance with GM dealership standards.
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve parts-related customer concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Parts Department.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager experience preferred.
• General Motors dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GM parts, catalogs, ordering systems, and dealership operations.
• Experience with GM RIM or similar inventory-management programs.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and control expenses.
• Strong leadership and employee-development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
