Job summary

Western Truck Center, part of the Dobbs Truck Group, seeks a warehouse/parts associate to handle shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in our parts warehouse. The role requires safe operation of lifting equipment and accurate record-keeping.

You will work in a team environment, adhere to MSDS and safety procedures, and occasionally deliver parts. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of work experience.
• 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
• Heavy-duty truck aptitude.
• Strong organization, communication, and phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts into DSI system and warehouse parts to assigned bin/rack locations.
• Operate pallet and lift equipment.
• Adhere to inventory control procedures and conduct cycle counts daily and weekly.
• Control inbound and outbound freight billing.
• Secure warehouse from unauthorized personnel.
• Process core and return parts for full credit and recovery.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
• Monitor MSDS storage risks and report to Parts Manager.
• May deliver or pick up parts off-site using a company vehicle.
• Represent the Company professionally when interacting with customers.
