Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. in Windsor, CO is seeking a Lead Parts/Warehouse position to supervise warehouse staff, guide order fulfillment, and ensure timely delivery with quality and safety in mind.

The role requires forklift operation, data entry in our WMS, and strong supervisory skills. You will coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor while promoting teamwork and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of administrative/clerical experience.
• 3+ years customer service experience.
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience.
• 1+ year technical or mechanical experience (machine service/maintenance).
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Enters data accurately into the Warehouse Management System.
• Manages the log process and resolves problems.
• Trains warehouse workers in job responsibilities and safety procedures.
• Interacts with customers professionally to meet their needs.
• Selects, packages, and ships parts per area.
• Operates forklift as required by job assignment.

Pay Rate:$21.00 - $30.00 per hourPay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

• Enters data accurately into computer Warehouse Management System
• Works to minimize company’s expenses on supplies and equipment
• Manages the log process and resolves problems
• Ensures proper processes and procedures are in compliance
• Works with other warehouse Leads to resolve problems and effectively use resources
• Ensures all work is performed in accordance with the safety rules and regulations
• Promotes teamwork in completing warehouse goals
• Ensures the warehouse is organized and clean
• Trains warehouse workers in job responsibilities and safety procedures
• Interacts with customers in professional manner to meet their needs and resolve problems
• Selects, packages, and/or ships parts according to assigned area
• Uses Warehouse Management System computer system to process orders
• Operates forklift as required by job assignment
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Assigns and directs work of warehouse staff under guidance of Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor
• Maintains and enforces break schedules in each area
• Provides timely feedback to employees on performance and attendance
• Reports performance problems to direct supervisor

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
• 3+ years customer service experience
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• 1+ years technical or mechanical experience (machine service/maintenance)
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment including saws, hoisting equipment, and hose presses
