Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is hiring a Parts Worker for Vehicle Maintenance in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining parts inventory for district vehicles and assisting mechanics by issuing parts and supporting procurement processes.

The position is full-time (40 hours) with a base hourly rate of $17.78 and benefits including retirement, health and life insurance, plus annual performance pay. CDL endorsement options are available for advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum three years’ experience in auto parts field.
• Ability to obtain a class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.
• Must be familiar with vehicles and related parts.
• Willingness to work overtime and non-regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of parts, supplies and materials for district vehicles.
• Issue parts to mechanics and assist procurement with perpetual inventory.
• Prepare year-end inventory and forms; assist in purchasing of parts.
• Keep parts room neat and orderly; support colleagues as needed.
