Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a full-time Parts & Inventory Clerk to maintain the inventory of parts, supplies and materials for district vehicle maintenance. This role supports mechanics, procurement, and inventory control within a busy shop environment.

Qualifications include a valid Arizona driver’s license, 3+ years in auto parts, and the ability to obtain a CDL with school bus endorsements. Benefits include health, life insurance, and retirement matching through ASRS.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Minimum three years’ experience in auto parts field.
• Ability to obtain a class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Issue parts to mechanics.
• Assist procurement specialist in maintenance of perpetual inventory throughout fiscal year.
• Assist in preparation of year-end inventory and in preparation of appropriate forms.
• Assist procurement specialist in purchasing of parts and in needed clerical work.
• Keep parts room neat and orderly.
• Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools.
