Job summary

PAC Industries is seeking a parts coordinator to ensure customer satisfaction through timely service, accurate ordering, and efficient warehouse operations. You will collaborate with Service Technicians and the Northeast team to stock service vans and maintain inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes data entry, parts verification, and effective communication with customers and manufacturers to ensure prompt delivery of parts and resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Formal training and education in electrical and mechanical repair techniques.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Solid understanding of machinery and tools, including their design, application, repair, and maintenance.
• Proven experience in operating a forklift safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls promptly and courteously.
• Process orders via phone, fax, email, or through Service Technicians, ensuring accurate data entry and timely ordering of parts.
• Assist with part research to verify that the correct parts are ordered.
• Apply appropriate discounts to customers when applicable.
• Follow up with manufacturers and customers to confirm parts are shipped and received promptly.
• Address customer concerns courteously and effectively.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support customer satisfaction and business success.
• Collaborate with the Northeast Service Manager to ensure proper stocking of service vans.
• Maintain warehouse organization and grow inventory accuracy through regular stock counts.
