Job summary

Northeastern Appliance Service is seeking a reliable Parts Associate to maintain an organized warehouse and support technicians with parts and materials. You will receive, stock, and distribute inventory while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and a team-first attitude, with opportunities for advancement. This is a full-time, in-person position in Peekskill, NY.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, inventory, parts, or shipping/receiving experience (preferred).
• Be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Be comfortable using computers and inventory management software.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have a positive, team-first attitude.
• Be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Have a valid driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
• Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare parts and materials for technician pickup and customer orders.
• Assist with shipping outgoing parts and preparing packing slips.
• Process returns from technicians and customers.
• Restock unused and returned inventory into proper warehouse locations.
• Assist with manufacturer warranty returns and core returns.
• Verify that orders are complete before distribution.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's inventory management system.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Help identify low-stock items and communicate replenishment needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and inventory control procedures.
• Work closely with Technicians and Customer Service Representatives to ensure timely parts availability.
• Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Assist with additional warehouse and parts department duties as assigned.
