Arakelian Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Parts and Inventory Specialist in California to oversee local inventory for vehicle maintenance items. You will receive materials, enter data into CMMS, and issue parts to repair orders, while maintaining stock levels and organizing storage by VMRS codes.

Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, processing procurement requisitions, and assisting mechanics with parts research. Strong attention to detail and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in heavy truck parts inventory management.
• Ability to read and comprehend parts breakdown books.
• Familiar with inventory management software and CMMS.
• Proficient with Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Physically receive materials and input receipts into CMMS.
• Travel to pick up and/or deliver parts as needed.
• Issue parts to repair orders via CMMS.
• Manage critical spare parts stocking levels.
• Submit procurement requisitions for parts.
• Identify obsolete inventory and manage disposition.
• Conduct cycle counts and reduce inaccuracies.
• Organize inventory locations by VMRS code and part number.
• Ensure CMMS entries use correct nomenclature and descriptions.
• Maintain storeroom operations per company standards.
• Manage returns, warranty recovery, and core exchange tracking.
• Assist shop mechanics by researching parts for repairs.
