Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Supply Associate in Columbia, SC to ensure technicians have the correct parts, manage inventory accuracy, and process incoming shipments. You will support service operations and deliver exceptional internal and external customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include identifying parts, inspecting shipments, maintaining cycle counts, stocking levels, and using CarMax systems to allocate parts while upholding EH&S standards and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Completion of Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adherence to competency standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems for smooth workflow
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
