Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Parts Specialist - Customer Equipment Solutions in Sanford, FL. The role focuses on maintaining inventory to meet parts needs for customers and the branch’s service department, while supporting the parts department with accuracy and efficiency.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years of retail/sales exposure. Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong customer service skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years of retail / sales exposure.
• Heavy equipment knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers; acquire parts from other branches as-needed to maintain and replenish inventory.
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed.
• Advise management on parts activities, future trends and matters affecting department efficiency and customer relations.
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
