Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Parts Specialist in Braintree, MA to support the parts department and maintain inventory levels for customers and the branch’s service team. You will purchase parts, process orders, update records, and assist with pricing and literature materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years of retail exposure.
• Heavy equipment knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers; acquire parts from other branches as-needed to maintain and replenish inventory.
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed.
• Advise management on parts activities, future trends and matters which affect the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations.
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company.
• Other duties assigned as needed
