Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Parts Clerk to support maintenance and production operations. This hands-on role manages parts and equipment end-to-end, from sourcing to receipt, organization, and distribution, with a focus on minimizing downtime through accurate CMMS records.

You will coordinate inventory, assist purchasing, verify receipts, maintain the parts room, and communicate with suppliers and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly in a loud industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience in purchasing, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
• Proficiency with CMMS and administrative software; ability to interpret equipment design to optimize costs.
• Strong math skills and ability to read/write technical manuals and safety reports.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DEQ, and EEO regulations; able to manage time and crisis situations.
• Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs in a loud, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the inventory program, including receiving, storing, and distributing parts.
• Assist in purchasing a variety of parts and supplies; source necessary equipment to keep operations running cost-effectively.
• Manage the receipt of parts, verify paperwork, and ensure items match order specifications.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and data entry; keep documentation up to date.
• Maintain the parts room and maintenance area in an orderly and safe manner.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize processes and meet operational needs.
