Job summary

Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, PA is seeking a Parts and Inventory Specialist for the 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm). The role focuses on parts procurement, inventory control, receiving, issuing, returns, records, and vendor coordination to keep transport operations running smoothly.

You will manage stocking levels, create POs, and maintain accurate records in Business Central while building strong supplier relationships and ensuring budgets are respected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Three to five years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong experience in parts, inventory management, and purchasing required.

Responsibilities

• Order parts, supplies, and approved services at the best overall value, considering quality, durability, life cycle, and operational needs.
• Coordinate with the Garage Service Manager to maintain stocking levels and obtain parts promptly for repairs.
• Create purchase orders; verify pricing, quantities, and approvals; ensure PO numbers appear on invoices.
• Receive, inspect, stock, stage, issue, and ship parts and tools; resolve damaged, missing, or incorrect items with suppliers.
• Maintain inventory records in Business Central; organize inventory by part number and bin location.
• Manage warranty, cores, returns, obsolete inventory, and manufacturer policies.
