Job summary

CarMax in Myrtle Beach is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Associate who ensures technicians have the right parts when they need them. You will manage inventory accuracy, process shipments, and support fast-paced service operations to keep the automotive experience moving smoothly.

You will identify parts for customer vehicles, stock and cycle-count inventory, and collaborate with associates and vendors to minimize waste and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Completion of Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adherence to competency standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendors.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems for smooth workflow.
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
