Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a Parts Clerk to support inventory control and parts ordering. The role involves maintaining accurate parts counts, handling related paperwork, and coordinating with vendors and the Corporate Fleet Services department.

Regular attendance and adherence to safety rules are essential. The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, inventory/trucking experience, a valid driver's license, and strong math, organizational, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Inventory/Parts and/or Trucking experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
• Good computer/keyboard skills.
• Good math skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• International parts experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
• Must comply with all company policies and conduct.
• Must interact well with others.
• Must work independently or in a team setting.
• Able to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and maintenance instructions with high concentration.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs parts inventory as scheduled.
• Orders parts as needed.
• Completes related paperwork and computer entry.
• Picks up parts from vendors in company vehicle.
• Maintains accurate parts count.
• Keys and review all invoices.
• Keys repair orders.
• Maintains effective working relationship with management, mechanics, vendors, and Corporate Fleet Services.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Employee may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
