Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking an Inventory/Parts Clerk to maintain organized stock of truck, trailer, dolly and forklift parts for maintenance services. You will manage receiving records, stock parts, and coordinate with approved vendors for replenishment.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift heavy parts. Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance is preferred and valid driver's license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of verifiable maintenance/parts administration experience.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift approximately 110 pounds several times a month.
• Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance/parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage inventory shipping/receiving records.
• Retrieve parts and stock to shelving units.
• Communicate with vendors by phone/fax to procure parts.
• Monitor min/max stocking levels and lead times.
• Use computer system to organize bin locations and track open POs.
