Job summary

CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a highly organized Parts & Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory, purchasing, and parts operations that support our fleet, equipment, and shop maintenance teams. This role plays a critical part in minimizing equipment downtime by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Control, Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, and Parts Management.
• Experience in Oilfield Services, Fleet Maintenance, Transportation, Heavy Equipment, or Construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Inventory Management Systems.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and establish min/max stock levels.
• Track inventory usage, shortages, and replenishment needs.

CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts & Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory, purchasing, and parts operations that support our fleet, equipment, and shop maintenance teams. This role plays a critical part in minimizing equipment downtime by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time.

What You'll Do

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits
• Monitor inventory levels and establish min/max stock levels
• Track inventory usage, shortages, and replenishment needs
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory efficiency

Purchasing & Procurement

• Source and purchase parts, supplies, and consumables
• Obtain vendor quotes and compare pricing
• Create and manage purchase orders
• Track open orders and expedite critical parts when necessary
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships

Receiving & Distribution

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments
• Verify packing slips against purchase orders
• Organize and store inventory appropriately
• Issue parts to mechanics and operations personnel
• Maintain accurate parts usage records

Operational Support

• Coordinate with mechanics and shop personnel to forecast parts requirements
• Ensure parts availability for preventative maintenance activities
• Assist with emergency procurement requests
• Support equipment uptime and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • Inventory Control
  • Purchasing
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Parts Management
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
• Experience in one or more of the following industries:
  • Oilfield Services
  • Fleet Maintenance
  • Transportation
  • Heavy Equipment
  • Construction
• Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Inventory Management Systems
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of procurement and inventory best practices
• Experience with fleet management or maintenance tracking software

• Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and industry safety requirements
