CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Asset Coordinator to oversee the management, tracking, utilization, and compliance of company assets across our operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency by ensuring vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, rental assets, tools, and support equipment are properly tracked, maintained, and available when needed.
The Asset Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination between operations, maintenance, procurement, accounting, and field personnel to support asset readiness, maximize utilization, and maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management
- Maintain accurate asset records and inventories across all company locations.
- Track asset acquisitions, assignments, transfers, deployments, returns, and disposals.
- Manage asset identification systems, documentation, warranties, registrations, and service histories.
- Support onboarding and decommissioning of company assets.
Fleet & Equipment Coordination
- Monitor equipment service intervals and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Track equipment downtime and support operational efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain records for vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, rental assets, and support equipment.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain documentation required for DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, customer, and internal compliance programs.
- Track permits, certifications, inspections, and expiration dates.
- Prepare reports on asset utilization, inventory, equipment availability, and maintenance.
- Support audits and compliance reviews with accurate, audit-ready documentation.
Operational Support
- Coordinate asset assignments for crews, drivers, mechanics, and field personnel.
- Support equipment readiness for customer projects and operational demands.
- Respond to requests regarding asset availability and status.
- Participate in planning and coordination meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in asset management, fleet management, logistics, inventory control, operations coordination, equipment administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience in oilfield services, trucking, construction, transportation, heavy equipment, or industrial operations.
- Experience with fleet management software, maintenance platforms, Samsara, ERP systems, or other asset management tools.
- Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and industry compliance requirements.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and asset utilization metrics.
