Job summary

U.S. Cotton, LLC seeks a dedicated materials and parts coordinator to oversee ordering for maintenance, repairs, and installations. You will manage non-BOM parts, ensure proper stock levels, and maintain the parts database to support cost reductions.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting parts, issuing materials, and coordinating with vendors. A forklift certification and strong English skills are required for safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and speaks English fluently; good communication skills.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communicational skills.
• Reads and interprets purchase orders, invoices, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Purchase & receive inventory and non-inventory parts.
• Inspect stock and store incoming components and equipment.
• Issue equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Deliver and pick up equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Maintain appropriate paperwork.
• Maintain parts room.
• Cross-reference branded & private label components to standardize parts.
• Input new components and remove obsolete components in parts database as required.
• Manage parts disposition as required.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform semi-annual inventory audits.
• Perform cycle counts on critical components.
• Support production equipment as necessary.
• Performs special projects as necessary
• Negotiate with vendors for best pricing structures.
• Other duties as assigned.
