Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Basic mathematical and reasoning skills required.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department preferred.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Employee must be able to lift/move 25 lbs. consistently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must pass and hold certification to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts against packing slips and check daily for discrepancies.
• Process Special-Order Parts by labeling and managing SOR cards.
• Stock all parts in proper locations daily.
• Create new locations for new inventory daily.
• Unload delivery trucks with forklift as needed.
• Prepare all returns for shipping.
• Return Pay Cores and warranty Cores weekly per guidelines.
• Move stock to RIM Room and manage associated paperwork weekly.
• Field scraps warranty parts weekly per manufacturer guidelines.
• Sweep floors in receiving area weekly.
• Process returns to GM as paperwork arrives.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.
