Job summary

Kelley Auto Body in Decatur, IN is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to support the Parts Department. You will deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors, and pick up items while ensuring accuracy with invoices and paperwork.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to lift heavy parts; you will work under the Parts Manager to maintain a professional department and assist with daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Employee must be able to lift/move 25 lbs. consistently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Able to use computer and calculator.
• Able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors.
• Ensure all items delivered to the customer match the items charged on the invoice.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores and vendors.
• Coordinate pick up and delivery with Parts Manager, Assistant Parts Manager, Parts Counterpersons, and Parts Receiver/Stocker as directed.
• Must be courteous and friendly at all times.
• Help maintain professional appearance of the Parts Department.
• Report all customer concerns/complaints to the Assistant Manager or the Parts Manager.
• Ensure that all delivery invoices are signed per Parts Department guidelines and that all dealership copies of the invoices are returned to the dealership and accounted for.
