Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Indiana is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory, support efficient product flow, and keep a clean, organized store environment. You will receive/post freight, run cycle counts, stock shelves, and pull orders for delivery drivers, will-call customers, and the main counter.

The role requires familiarity with automotive parts, the ability to identify the correct items quickly, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience stocking, loading, or pulling for at least 1 year.
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read part numbers and codes accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and move heavier items with equipment.
• Excellent customer service for counter and will-call customers.

Responsibilities

• Pull all orders for delivery drivers and for counter/will-call customers, routing products accurately and on time.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain accurate shelving.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy and records.
• Perform housekeeping and safety tasks, including hazardous materials handling.
• Utilize inventory systems for coordination, dispatching, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as volume requires; provide basic support or escalate as needed.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries via delivery management systems; prepare orders for customers and drivers.
